Meet Oscar. He's the newest member of our family. He's Jesse's new puupy. A miniature dachshund. He's sooooo cute. | | |
| Life continues 2 b craz. If it's not 1 thing, it's another. My house is a wreck. We are redoing my kitchen walls and so things have been a mess for three weeks now, and it doesn't look like it's going to get better any time soon. Started Christmas shopping yesterday--at It's a Deal! What can I say, I just happened upon the items we were going to get and they were really cheap. It works!!! Life in the office is fun again. No more stress from kids calling from home! | | |
| Well, life is picking up. I have officially lost control. I have missed three appointments in the past week. I don't know what's up, but when I come home, I just forget everything. Poor Kelsi, two of the appointments were hers. Have been quite busy getting the year planned for the youth group. We are going to have a great year. We are planning a mission trip next summer to DC. It's going to be lots of fun. Have I mentioned that I have some of the greatest teens in the world? I am sooooooooooooo blessed! My three kids are enjoying their new school. There has been some getting used to it though. It is 6 times as large as what they are used to. Everyone seems more at peace. Well, not Anna--she seems to be frustrated regardless of where she goes. God is doing some great things. | | |
| PLEASE PRAY FOR LYDIA. She's having surgery on Monday. I know that I shouldn't feel this way, but I hope they put the person who hit her in jail and throw away the key!! People who drive drunk deserve to pay for the lives that they hurt! | | |
| Well, it's been forever since I wrote a real post here. I guess it's about time to do so. Been keeping busy. Am glad summer is almost over. I think that the lack of "structure" is hard on kids. With camps, it's been hard to give structure. J is doing soccer camp this week. K goes to church camp next week. A just returned home from two weeks at church camp. J also went to church camp last week. They definitely like NEI Naz camp better than NWO. The facilities are so much nicer. The speaker really made an impact on the two of them. Got the kids registered to attend school here. While I am looking forward to not driving so much, I am going to miss CAS. I love that school. It has been such a good thing for our family. We've been a part of it for 8 years. I taught there when I was expecting J and for about a year after he was born. Letting go of our spots there is really a big deal to me. The kids, however, are looking forward to the public school. It's only five miles from the house. The kids will get to sleep later, and they will be home by 3:30. Yeah! Looking forward to this next year with the teens. We are tentatively planning a mission trip to the DC area next July. Many activities will be different this year as we try to save money for this expedition. It should be really neat. | | |
